Reading Mastery
Fit Reading offers a highly customized method designed to accelerate reading skills and build reading fluency. This process identifies each learner's strengths and areas for improvement, leading to personalized programming that targets over 100 specific skills. Our comprehensive approach includes:
- Phonics: Building fluency in decoding and encoding skills.
- Visual/Auditory Phonemic Awareness: Strengthening the ability to distinguish and manipulate sounds for effective reading.
- Sight Reading and Passage Reading: Enhancing fluency and comprehension for seamless, engaging reading experiences.
Creating Successful Learners
Our evidence-based method, backed by thousands of case studies and over 26 years of field experience, pairs learners with certified coaches who meticulously track progress to ensure maximal growth. Most students achieve 1-2 years of academic growth in as little as 40 hours, mastering the mechanics of reading and developing the fluency needed for deep engagement with content.
The Outcomes
The combination of Fit Reading’s curricular strategy with the general Fit Learning Method has produced powerful results for all learners since 1998. Students who enroll in Fit Reading can expect to see their reading speed increase by 29 words per minute in just 40-hours.
